JTBC had hyped up the retired NBA player's appearance on the show, releasing previews two weeks before the actual episode aired. And the hype was well-worth it, as Shaq turned out to be a natural at Korean variety, fitting in well with both the regular cast members and the guest stars. As soon as he sauntered into the classroom, Shaq amiably greeted everyone with, "Hello Shaq, what up cuz, what up boy boy." 

Choo Sung Hoon, who was lucky enough to sit right next to the world star athlete on the episode, even received a big bear hug from Shaq! Choo Sung Hoon nearly disappeared into Shaq's bear-like embrace, his face lost in the crook of the athlete's great, wide shoulders. 

The athlete and Kangnam exchanged some playful banter during English class, teasing each other for getting their answers wrong. Kangnam had exclaimed, "Oh my god," in disbelief when Shaq got one of his answers wrong during English class. As a small vendetta, Shaq imitated Kangnam by reacting with, "Oh my god" when the idol got his answer wrong, generating a wave of laughter from the students.
