The Gyeonggi Provincial Police Agency's sexual violence investigation team related, "We requested an arrest warrant for 49-year-old 'A', who is affiliated with the Suwon Seobu Police Station, for suspicions of violating the laws related to the protection of minors." 

Lieutenant 'A' is under suspicion of touching certain private areas of 'B', an 18-year-old female high school student, whom he first came in contact with when she was reported for domestic violence. Further, 'A' is suspected of going to 'B's home this past September 11 to forcibly kiss her and touch parts of her body. 

On August 16, 'A' had arrested 'B' for domestic violence against her mother. It was investigated that 'A' approached 'B' under the guise of "offering advice and protection because she is a minor despite her crime." 

A police rep stated, "Lieutenant 'A' admitted to most of his charges but more investigation is needed as the exact time frame of [when the sexual assault began] and the motive behind his actions are unclear. Once the investigation is over, if found guilty, we plan to severely punish 'A' for his criminal offenses."
