Check it. Chancellor and Bumkey's new MV "Make Me Stay" has finally been dropped, making his debut as an artist under this new name. He's branching out from his role as one half of the talented producing duo Duble Sidekick, as well as from the many other names he's been known as.
You can see that his song, previously known as "SON E GA", which means 'my hand goes', takes that phrase very literally in the MV.
The song is described to be neo soul mixed with R&B with an analog twist. But more importantly, his single album 'Make Me Stay' is dedicated to American producer J Dilla, who passed away nearly a decade ago, but not before influencing hip-hop into what it is today. J Dilla is said to be Chancellor's music idol, and you can even see how much he respects the hip-hop artist at the end of the MV!
