Idols must really have a fairly negative view in the K-entertainment world. Veteran actress Go Doo Shim, whom you must all recognize because she's been in countless productions, revealed as much during the August 12 press conference for upcoming KBS 2TV drama, 'The Virtual Bride,' which also stars Dasom. Thankfully, idols like Solji and Dasom keep proving people wrong.
Go Doo Shim stated, "Honestly, at first, I didn't have big expectations for Dasom because she's a singing idol. However, she did really well even on set and we would film everyday, but she would go around smiling, which is an extremely rare sight to behold even amongst actors, so she is playing the role of the vitamin on set."
She also talked about actor Ryu Soo Young, stating, "Ryu Soo Young was an actor I've always liked, so it's nice that I get to act closely with him. On top of that, he even has a good sense of humor."
The drama is set to begin airing on August 17.
