Though the show didn't uncover the cause of the singer's passing, it was revealed that allegedly, Do Eun Young had suffered from the general hardships of life and bouts of depression.
The late singer's friend, fellow singer Yeon Gyu Sung, appeared on 'One Night of Entertainment,' telling the viewers of how he came to learn of Do Eun Young's passing. He said, "I got a call from Eun Young and it was her mother who told me that Eun Young passed onto the afterlife. She never lost sight of her dream and was preparing for her album, even though she suffered from depression and was going through a difficult patch in her life."
The last post on Do Eun Young's SNS account had allegedly been, "A new start. Singer Do Eun Young," leaving herself a message of support to boost her morale. She was said to have finished shooting an MV with Yeon Gyu Sung and was prepared to announce her new album.
An entertainment insider claimed, "I heard the unfortunate tale that [Do Eun Young] overdosed on sleeping pills." As the exact cause of the singer's death is unknown, it is hard to say for sure, but it is presumed to be an accident.
After the funeral procession which progressed earlier today, Do Eun Young's body was interred at an undisclosed burial site.
