Actress Hong Soo Ah has been doing incredibly well in China for a while now, and she talked about it during her appearance on tvN's 'Taxi' today.
The MCs asked her how she got the opportunity to advance into China, and she replied, "As it happens, I ended up making a Chinese friend. In the past, my movie, 'Mango Tree,' was invited to a movie festival, where a Chinese producer came and, after watching my movie, asked me, 'Do you have any thoughts to promote in China?' So I gave the okay, saying, 'I'm an actress, so I'm okay with going anywhere if given the chance.' That's how I started being active in China."

She was then asked about her profits there, and she shocked with her reveal that she earned three to four times more than in Korea! Which is probably not too surprising considering just how much bigger the country is and how many more people there are in in comparison to Korea.
