The girls debuted on 'M! Countdown' with "Elvis" on August 9th, 2012. On reaching their 3rd anniversary, the girls said, "We won't forget how our hearts beat on our first debut stage, and we'll do our best at every moment. We thank our fans who are always supporting and loving us."

FNC Entertainment's CEO Han Sung Ho also said, "Congratulations to FNC's first girl group, AOA. I'm thankful for how they've grown into a well-loved girl group through their hard work even passing on their monthly vacation. I will keep supporting them so they can grow to their full potential."
He also hinted, "You can look forward to various genres of music that various units will show off. AOA will be releasing their Japanese album in the second half of this year and the first half of next year and hold promotions such as showcases and performances as well as broadcast. AOA's growth not only in Korea, but also overseas starts now."
