During the testimony, the rapper stated, "Even while knowing that smoking weed will affect not only myself but also the people around me, I kept smoking while lying to everyone. I tried to justify my actions but now I feel that my behavior was foolish and irresponsible and now I'm blaming myself. During my imprisonment I realized just how lacking I was and how many mistakes I've made. Doing music I've come to know what a happy and thankful thing living life is. I think I rightfully deserve my punishment."
He added, "It's a relief that I was able to pull myself together before it got too late. I don't even any any rights to make excuses but if you give me one more chance I will try my best to show everyone around me that I'm changing my ways."
The prosecution demanded a sentence of two years of imprisonment and a fine of 577,000 KRW (~$ 508 USD) for violating the laws related to illegal drugs.
