The July 13 airing of tvN's 'The List 2015' featured a topic titled, 'Thank you for growing up well! Former child star's successful past.' On this very specific list, G-Dragon managed to place eighth.
Actor Ryu Duk Hwan exposed the Big Bang leader's humblebeginnings as he told the viewers, "I met G-Dragon onMBC's 'Popopo' and formed a group with him. We performed at grape festivals and clam festivals. One time we even opened for H.O.T as the 'mini H.O.T."
Though the two went on very separate paths, both are very successful in their respective careers, with G-Dragon having proved himself as a songwriter / producer time and time again and Ryu Duk Hwan having made his name as both a film and TV actor.
