Yeo Jin Goo, who portrays the role of a popular high school student in fantasy drama 'Orange Marmalade', recently gave an interview to 'The Star'. The budding actor discussed his personal and school life and his aspirations for his career.
In the interview, the actor revealed that he isn't all that popular at school contrary to the role of Jung Jae-min in 'Orange Marmalade'. He stated, "I'm not all that popular, but I get on well with my friends. When I have free time, I go to the game room with them. My friends don't let me play because I'm not good [at playing games], but it's still fun. And the cup ramen at the game room are just so good." Yeo Jin Goo is probably very popular at school; he's just too humble to say so himself!
The actor is also one studious student as he told the interviewer, "When there is no filming, I always go to school." But these days Yeo Jin Goo says he "gets a cold sweat" every time he gets his test papers back because his grades have been suffering.
The actor further expressed his desire to play the role of a sinister yet charismatic villain like Joker from 'The Dark Night'. He said, "I know it's a villainous role, but reasoning behind [the villainous acts] is understandable that you come to sympathize with him. The Joker had a reason for behaving the way he did. In the movie, [the Joker] made even Batman feel unsettled."
Do you think Yeo Jin Goo would make a good villain?
