Hello there and welcome to the School of K-Pop! Here we strive to teach our students how to be the very best K-pop fans. Is this your first day here? Don't worry - just take your seat here and I'll let you know how your day will go.

8:00 AM: Mathematics

We start off our day with mathematics, where we learn the basics for any K-pop fan. Here we learn math terms that you need to know for future K-pop group names. Think of 2NE1, 2AM and 2PM, B1A4, and f(x) as some examples.

(By the way, you'll need to memorize the K-pop formula for being the best.)

You'll also learn basic mathematics to help you keep track of the number of members per group, calculate views on music videos, and watch chart performances of your favorite groups.

9:00 AM: Language Arts

Ready to write your own K-pop lyrics? This is the class for you! You'll also be able to screenwrite your own Korean dramas.

We also read self-composed lyrics of K-pop artists to analyze the deeper meaning and thoughts behind the lyrics.

10:00 AM: History

Time for some K-pop throwbacks! Here we learn the history of K-pop to see how much K-pop has changed throughout the years.

A sample of our history classes involve watching and comparing music videos of different eras, such as:

The 90s...

And now:

11:00 AM: Language

All students here are mandated to take Korean classes. We learn how to read, write, and speak Korean, which helps us to understand our biases on variety shows, read their SNS posts, and type out our love for them on forums.

(First Korean phrase we learn: "saranghaeyo")

We can also opt to learn Chinese or Japanese to help us understand our idols when they travel elsewhere!

12:00 PM: Lunchtime!

Feeling a little hungry? Head down to the cafeteria to enjoy your favorite Korean foods. Try some of the favorite foods of your idols, like ramen or ddukbokki - all with a side of kimchi of course!

1:00 PM: Gym

It's time to get up and move around! We get our exercise by learning the dance routines to our favorite K-pop songs. If we have time at the end of each class, we also get to choreograph our own K-pop dance routines!

(Always need to start with a good warmup.)

2:00 PM: Science

Even science class here revolves around K-pop! Here you can look forward to experimenting with different chemicals to create the best and funkiest hair dyes for K-pop stars.

3:00 PM: Music

Of course our last class of the day has to be 100% about K-pop!

Here's where we learn how to sing and rap to K-pop songs. We get some music theory in too by learning how to compose our own K-pop songs!
