A video of a devoted University of Suwon professor continuing his lectures online via 'Afreeca TV' despite the spread of the MERS virus has gone viral on social media.

The school had officially closed down in the aftermath of the MERS outbreak. Even in the thick of the epidemic, one professor exhibited his passion for teaching by providing lectures for his students online via 'Afreeca TV.' The class, called 'Broadcast Media Criticism,' was uploaded on the video hosting site. The class progressed with ease as the the professor took attendance using the online chat.
The students displayed their friendly relationship with the professor by playfully requesting him to play a song in turn for supporting him on his Afreeca TV account.
Netizens clamored that, "this broadcast will go down in history," and enthusiastically cheered on the professor's passion.
