[WARNING: Graphic details]
Earlier this week, a post of a woman's alleged experiences of sexual exploitation, drugs, rape, and incest took the Internet by a storm. Now, three YouTube videos have been uploaded by three people who claim they are the victimized woman and her two sons. Uploaded on a channel named "Lee Jung Hee," also the name of the alleged victim, each video shows three people wearing surgical masks and sunglasses that almost entirely cover their faces. All are titled "It is True That We Have Been Raped By Our Father" in English and Korean.
In the Korean video, a woman who claims to be Lee Jung Hee addresses viewers in a bid to help her children, but is apparently unable to finish as she starts crying halfway through the video. The speaker claims everything she and her sons wrote was true and asks viewers to save her two children, even if it means her own arrest for her part in a prostitution organization. The supposed sons start from where she leaves off, speaking of the alleged rapes, incest, and drugs they were coerced into participating in.
In the English video, only two speakers - the alleged raped and abused teenage sons - are heard, as they speak of details that echo the original post that was written by the purported rape and prostitution victim. They speak of the abuses they had allegedly endured as well as inaction from law enforcement when they attempted to reach out for help. An English add-up video adds on more details onto these claims of abuses.
Since the original post, the hashtag #HelpLeeJungHee has spread throughout Twitter.
