Recently, the Daejun Jungbu Police Station updated its Facebook with a heartwarming tale of one police officer who took in a young boy like a real son because he's been stressed about friendships.

The officer in charge of the school, Kim Sung Jong, recently got a phone call from a student, who did not want to go to school because of his classmates who would bother him. The student also choked up as he revealed that whenever he ate lunch by himself, he would remember his father who passed away four years ago.

Officer Kim was able to understand the student's feelings as he was a father with his own children, so it hurt him personally as if his very own offspring were the ones being harassed.  As soon as he got off the phone, he ran to the school to meet up with the student.  He then became his lunch buddy and promised to fill up the seat next to him from now on.

He promised, "With the same feelings of a father, I will be there for him and help him." Upon reading about this story, the netizens reacted positively, calling him a great man and feeling touched.

Yes, grab those tissues because this is just too sweet a story!
