Just as he had voiced on various episodes of 'Mix & Match' and during interviews following the survival program, Yang Hyun Suk expressed his high expectations for his youngest group and said, "Following Big Bang, I am hoping that iKON would be the next in line [to promote]. Recently, I've been meeting up with iKON members a lot to talk about their music.
However, I thought that Big Bang should be the ones to come out first. iKON has about 20 tracks ready. Since the debut is important, I want them to come out with a good album after sorting out [the tracks]. The group that I'm most worried about right now is iKON. I hope that they will debut before summer ends. It's my wish."
Meanwhile, there have been multiple talks of iKON's debut since November 2014, but the rookie group has yet to release music as an official group.
