Here's another round of 'Who Wore It Better,' this time with idol stars, Girl's Day's Minah and SISTAR's Soyu!
The two were spotted at different 'Coach' events this year dressed in the same yellow two-piece outfit outlined by large metallic rhinestones that match the buttons. The two even pose before the same 'Coach New York' sign, but on separate occasions. Minah attended a pop-up store opening for 'Coach' on February 27, 2015 while Soyu attended the store renewal opening for 'Coach' at the Lotte Department on April 10, 2015.
Let's get to the girls' outfits! They both wore the light yellow jacket and straight, mid-thigh length skirt with a simple white crop top underneath, but proceeded to style it up with different accessories. Minah went for a youthful and feminine look with long, straightened hair; a small, light blue purse; white, ankle socks; and platform stilettos of a similar color to the two-piece outfit. She looks refreshing and young.
On the other hand, Soyu stands out with more modest high heels and a bright orange-and-white, medium-sized bag. Her hair is also let loose, but with a slight wave for a more natural and relaxed look.
I have to say that, in the end, Soyu looks better. While I think it's nice how Minah dolled herself up to emphasize her cuteness, she looks a bit washed out with all the light hues she went for and overdid it with the refreshing youthfulness so that she looked plain-and-simple like a young girl who's meeting her parents at the event.
On the other hand, Soyu looks like a woman, simple as that. Her curves are more suitable for this outfit as her natural body line creates a shape for the generally straight, shapeless silhouette of the jacket and skirt. She looks more mature and sophisticated with her bag and shoe choices, turning what could be deemed a child-like outfit into a surprisingly elegant and lady-like attire, which Minah failed to do. The dress was just not flattering on Minah's more delicate and lithe figure.
