Running Man's Ji Suk Jin caught smoking an e-cigarette on air

'Running Man' star Ji Suk Jin was recently under fire when footage of the star smoking an e-cigarette was accidentally broadcasted on the April 19 episode. 


Representatives of Ji Suk Jin defended the variety star and stated, "The troubled incident was from footage when they were on a break that went on air. He didn't think that it would go on air, so he used his electric cigarette. We are deeply apologetic [for the trouble]. Whatever the reason may be, the scene that shouldn't have been aired was broadcasted, so we are very apologetic towards the viewers. We will pay closer attention during filming."

A rep from SBS also added that the problematic scene was filmed during break and the production team included the footage by mistake when they were supposed to edit it out. The reps also sent their apologies to the viewers. 


Since the incident, the producers have gone back and removed the scene out for the viewers who are watching the episode on replay.
