K.Will revealed that he actually debuted the same year as Girls' Generation, KARA, and Wonder Girls.
On the April 3 broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook,' the 34-year-old singer talked about the fierce competition he faced as a rookie, saying, "I debuted in the midst of a huge idol boom and now I'm here.The fact that I'm alive feels like a miracle."
K.Will moved on to then talk about his latest album 'RE:' and its ballad sound, saying, "I'm a ballad singer, but for five years I haven't sung a ballad. Now there are times you can refer to me as one; I really want to show an image appropriate for my age."
At this, MC Yoo Hee Yeol commented, "I'm not sure if this is an appropriate analogy, but it's like when you see a woman who usually wears wakeup not wear makeup--it's awkward. But that's the woman's true self. K.Will's newest ballad provides us an opportunity to see K.Will's true self."
