Clara and CEO Lee Kyu Tae of Ilkwang Group and subsidiary Polaris Entertainment are currently in a strife regarding an exclusive contract and defamation, but both parties have yet again delayed their plea date, which was set for April 29 at the Seoul Central District Court.
Clara's rep told Star Today on April 28, "Under the agreement of both parties today, the schedule was pushed back by four weeks. It appears there are some things to discuss between the parties before the trial, so it was decided abruptly."
When asked if there was a possibility for agreeable arrangements, the rep stated, "It's too early to talk about things like that."

In addition, SBS recently aired its special on this issue for 'I Want to Know' in which Clara's acquaintance told the production crew in an interview, "CEO Lee had asked Clara multiple times how it would be for her to be a lobbyist instead of a celebrity."
In relation to this, Clara had said, "I don't really want to say with my own mouth right now about his requests for me to be a lobbyist. It's scary to keep getting connected with that person. The more we get involved, the more harm comes to me and my father. If it goes on, we won't even be able to live in Korea."
