According to the Daegu Regional Police, a teacher, A (39), in charge of an elementary school classroom was assaulted by a parent, B (42), at the school on April 8 multiple times, which involved getting her head smacked against a wall.
B is being charged with multiple accounts of assault, including grabbing A's hair and slamming her head against the wall in her first grade classroom at 8:45 AM on this day. The students who witnessed this situation stated, "B came to the classroom, grabbed the teacher's hair, pulled her here and there, and then struck her against the wall."
The school stated that B would not stop the violence, so the police had to be called and B was booked without detention. A proceeded to get medical treatment at a hospital's emergency room.
The police investigation revealed that B originally came to the school to complain to teacher A that she hit B's son once and failed to properly apologize for the incident. However, B got riled up and resorted to assault instead of complaining with words.
During the investigation, B stated, "My child was admitted into the hospital, but the teacher did not even visit the hospital." After A finishes her hospital treatment, the police expects to inquire into the exact situation.
