Starship's 'NO.MERCY' survivors to debut as MONSTA X + trainee unit release 'Interstellar' MV

Through the final episode that aired, 7 members have been confirmed for this new group. The members include Jooheon, Shownu, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Wonho, Minhyuk, and I.M.

Along with the announcement of the group name, the trainee unit made up of Jooheon, Hyungwon, and I.M have also released their song "Interstellar"! The unit's song is derived off the movie of the same title, and it's a song about having confidence and overcoming one's worries or concerns.

In regards to the group name MONSTA X, Starship explained, "The name signifies the emergence of a monster who will dominate the Kpop scene, as well as the meaning of 'My star', as 'Mon' means 'my' in French. The X in the name refers to the existence of the unknown."

MONSTA X plan to make their debut within the first half of this year, so as you await more news on their debut, check out the rapper unit's song "Interstellar" through the clip above!
