Writers and producers alike are currently in a rush to snag actor Song Joong Ki as the date for the actor's discharge is getting closer. Writer Kim Eun Sook in particular have already released to the press that she has sent a love call to Song Joong Ki for her upcoming KBS drama 'The Descendant of the Sun'.

A rep of Song Joong Ki recently told TV Daily, "It is true that Song Joong Ki has received an offer from writer Kim Eun Sook for the drama 'The Descendant of the Sun'. However, there's nothing that has been confirmed. His discharge is in May so there is a lot of time left until he has to choose his comeback work. He is open to both movies and dramas."
Writer Kim Eun Sook has been called a star writer and a hitmaker for her past popular works such as 'Lovers in Paris', 'Secret Garden', and 'Heirs'.
Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki's discharge is set for May of 2015, and with just a couple months left, it has been reported that the actor is making an effort to find a comeback project.
