The two met 2 years ago through a common friend and have been steadily dating since then. The pair found a common point in music, as Jo Jung Suk is a musical actor and Gummy is a well-known veteran singer.

Their friend said, "The two of them first met when they were at a meeting with friends. They become lovers by communicating through music. They can't date like a regular couple, but when they aren't busy, they take care of each other and spend time together."�
