Earlier in the week, traffic on Gyeongbu Expressway was jammed pack due to cars trying to avoid a cow that seemed to appear out of nowhere. Imagine driving down the highway and the jackass trying to cut you off is actually just a cow? That must've been a weird experience.
Turns out the cow fell off the back of a truck. Around the 0:30 mark in the news clip shown below, a tipped over cargo truck can be seen. Reports say the cow was tied up inside the truck along with two other cows, when the truck tipped over due to a damaged tire. The cow broke free and probably decided it could reach its destination must faster on its own before walking off. The cow walked for 3 km and was captured 40 minutes later.
Luckily, no one was injured during this accident and the cow was also unharmed. Only the drivers stuck in an hour long traffic jam were the real victims of this story, but hopefully everyone was more amused than annoyed that there was a cow on the loose.
