Bobby Kim admits to harassing the stewardess and apologizes

They continued, "On February 17, Bobby Kim voluntarily submitted himself for questioning at 10 AM for four hours and 30 minutes and was investigated on the charge of violating an aviation security act and for committing a forced indecent act." 

On January 9, Bobby Kim was reported to have caused a disturbance during his Korean Air flight from Incheon to San Francisco. Korean Air claimed that because Bobby Kim was angered about being seated in economy class when he originally paid for business class, he became verbally abusive, drunk, and he sexually harassed a stewardess. On February 13, Bobby Kim cut his vacation in America short and returned to Korea to apologize to the public and cooperate with investigations. 

According to the police investigation, when Bobby Kim boarded the plane on January 9 and was told that he could not change his seat from economy class to business class, he ordered wine in order to fall asleep. After drinking six glasses of wine, Bobby Kim became intoxicated and started conversing with a nearby stewardess. He caused a loud ruckus for around 20 minutes. 

The police stated, "Bobby Kim acknowledges that he grabbed the stewardess' arm, asked for her number, and wrapped his arm around her waist, and he wishes to apologize to the stewardess; he also stated that because he was intoxicated, he does not accurately remember the details."

The police say they will soon submit their opinion about prosecution without detention on Bobby Kim's two charges of violating an aviation security act and of sexually harassing the stewardess.
