Previously, it was revealed that trot singer, Jang Yoon Jung, had sued her younger brother for the money she had lent him before--320 million KRW (~ $290,000 USD) that had never been repaid. The two had met back in May for a court-referred mediation, but took the case to court after failing to reach an agreement.
The first hearing was on October 8 and now the second hearing took place today on December 5. However, it appears that the two siblings will continue onto a third hearing.
The second hearing took place at the Seoul Central District Court without the appearance of either Jang Yoon Jung or her brother, both of whom chose to just send in their legal representatives.
After it was decided that the third hearing will take place on January 16, the second hearing took only five minutes to wrap up.
Stay tuned for updates on this lawsuit.
