Han Hyo Joo to play a gisaeng in movie 'Haeohwa'

Actress Han Hyo Joo is ready for her big screen comeback with movie 'Haewohwa' in which she will be a gisaeng (Korean version of geisha).


Her agency, BH Entertainment, told My Daily on December 15, "Han Hyo Joo is confirmed for movie 'Haeohwa.'"

Currently, she is filming 'Beauty Inside,' but 'Haeohwa' will be her follow-up project!  This upcoming film will follow one gisaeng's frustrations and sadness to draw out sympathy and compassion for her from the audience.


The movie will be directed by Park Heung Shik and will start filming in early 2015 after they finish casting the leads.
