On November 5, SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment' headed out to get statements from reps of both sides of Shin Hae Chul's case as people continue to figure out how he died and if his death could have been prevented.
Shin Hae Chul's agency stated, "At first, the doctor stated that the possibility of myocardial infarction or cardiac arrest occurring would be small, but in the end, he suffered a cardiac arrest. Because of the cardiac arrest, the heart defibrillator was used twice, but I feel like the machine was not properly connected. The director urgently called in a nurse and told her, 'Properly connect it and bring it back.'"

One of the biggest issues in the controversy is the reduction of his stomach, which was revealed to have happened without Shin Hae Chul's consent, angering many people.
However, Sky Hospital stated, "We did not do a reduction surgery on his stomach. Rather, when he received a stomach band surgery in the past, the stomach wall was sutured for a bit of reinforcement-- we did not perform surgery that drastically decreased the capacity."
The singer's agency remarked, "When he went to the hospital on the 20th, the enterobrosia could have been confirmed through a CT, but [that didn't happen, so] it's a shame," saying the hospital failed to provide the best care.
"We are, of course, sorry about his death," stated Sky Hospital. "If you want an apology like that, we can make as many apologies as you want. However, it is not an apology that warrants taking legal responsibility."
