With only two hours left before their flight, the three boys of 'Reply 1994' headed towards the Kuang Si Falls. And on their way back to the airport, Son Ho Joon's eyes reddened as the radio started to play "Around Thirty," by Kim Kwang Suk. Even as Baro and Yoo Yun Suk tried to sooth the actor's heart, Son Ho Joon ended up shedding tears on the last day of their trip.
During an interview with the producers, the actor responded, "The lyrics matched perfectly with the situation right now. It's not enough to just say that it was fun. I was very happy for that week," reminiscing on his adventurous week in Laos.
Baro also said, "When I saw Son Ho Joon cry, I almost cried too. His eyes were moist with tears. I guess the lyrics 'Youth doesn't linger around,' touched his heart. I also felt this way through this trip."
In addition, Son Ho Joon brought back a wallet that he had bought in Laos as a souvenir for his best friend, Yunho. Prior to the trip, the producers had lied to the actor that they would be filming a commercial to lure him into going.
Son Ho Joon explained that he had promised to buy Yunho a brand name wallet from an expectation that he would filming a CF, but as that did not happen, he bought Yunho a wallet from Laos instead.
