Even with the death of a dear friend, Shin Hae Chul, Seo Taiji kept his professionalism and finished recording for the show and sent his condolences through music.
It read, "As a musician, he was a colossal mountain-like figure to me. He was a true musician who brought back our senses with his pure soul and honest volition. He was a hyung who had a warm and big heart who would, even without a word being said, quietly come up and pat my back. I am regretful because I wasn't able to really thank him for always bringing us the best music, and tell him that he was a really cool person. Please, at a great place, be forever singing in our hearts."

During the recording, MC Yoo Hee Yeol introduced Seo Taiji as he said, "It took six years to meet this man. I always wanted to bring in Seo Taiji as a guest."
He then added, "Seo Taiji was put in a very difficult position since Shin Hae Chul's death. But to keep his promise, he put a lot of effort into bringing the best band and creating the best performance."
On this day, Seo Taiji wore an all-black outfit and performed "90s icon," and his recently released track, "Christmalo.Win."
