One of the most tragic things that can happen in a historical K-Drama is a character being sentenced to death via poisoning. Tragic for the hero who has to commit suicide in front of an audience by drinking poison, yet sometimes tragic for the viewer to witness such a slow, ugly-sobbing, over dramatic death.
