allkpop writers alim17 and mssylee decided to debate this topic. While alim17 is confident that CL can make it in the States, mssylee is not as optimistic about her chances.
While alim17 believes that CL has what it takes, mssylee states that CL won't be able to stand out, as her skills and current repertoire do not stack up to current, popular American artists.
