WINNER successfully wrapped up their first concert for their first Japanese tour, 'WINNER 1st JAPAN TOUR 2014'!
The new YG Entertainment group's debut in Japan is going swimmingly as their debut album '2014 S/S - Japan Collection' rose to #2 on the Oricon daily album chart as well as #1 on mu-mo's real-time album chart. Following their release on September 10, WINNER went on to hold their first concert for 'WINNER 1st JAPAN TOUR 2014' at Zepp Tokyo on the 11th, where 2,600 fans went wild for them.
The boys stood on a smoky stage for their opening and even held a chic fashion show to showcase each member. They performed a total of 19 songs including their title tracks "Empty" and "Color Ring", "GO UP", "Smile Again", and more from their '2014 S/S - Japan Collection', which they personally participated in writing and composing, live. They also crooned a cover of Toshinobu Kubota's "LA LA LA Love Song" during the one-and-a-half-hour concert.
Leader Kang Seung Yoon said, "Our musical nature isn't to win someone else, but to heal. I hope that those who listen to our music have a positive and strong mindset that makes them a 'WINNER' in the end."

WINNER also commented on their sunbae group Big Bang, "Although Big Bang have the image of celebrities, we want to have a sweet, friendly, and boyfriend-like image... We also want to have a dome tour."
