On a recent airing of KBS 2TV's 'Full House', Sam Hammington revealed that he felt uncomfortable when asked personal questions. During one of the segments, there was a debate on whether Sam Hammington's sensitive reaction to personal questions or the Korean people who asked such personal questions were the problem.
On the topic at hand, Sam Hammington answered awkwardly, "When you ask the question, 'When are you having a baby?' it's as if they are asking about my sex life with my wife."

However, Ph.D Oh Han Jin and Park Jung Soo gave a rebuttal, "The question, 'When are you having a baby?' means that they are worried about you. You get closer by asking such personal and sensitive questions."
In response to Oh Han Jin and Park Jung Soo, Sam Hammington firmly stated, "I would prefer that they asked questions regarding my baby after we became close. I don't think it's right that they ask about my plans to have a child when we are not even close."
Entertainer Lee Yoon Suk also agreed with Sam Hammington and commented, "Usually when they ask 'Why aren't you having a baby?' it might not be that they have no plans to have a baby. When you tell them about the different ways that they should try, it doesn't mean that they hadn't tried them already, either. When you see that person again, it would be good if you avoided the first question that comes to your head."
