The foreign fans special of MBC's 'Stargazing' aired on August 21, featuring big girl groups SISTAR and 4minute. On the episode,�SISTAR talked about the dating prohibition they had in the early years of their career, and Soyu revealed she had once been asked out by a foreigner.�
The girls said, "When we were rookies, the chief of our agency told us to refrain from dating for three years after debuting. He told us after three years to do whatever we want, so [the dating prohibition] is now over. Four years passed since we debuted, so now this is our fifth year." Kang Ho Dong joked the girls must now be dating freely. �
They said, "They told us that if we were going to date, we should tell them beforehand, but we didn't tell them anything in particular yet. And how do you say something like that?"
In addition, Soyu recalled a time she was asked out by a foreigner. She said, "I went on a trip to Thailand with a friend. In the same boat, a French person kept talking to me. He asked me out, but all I could say in French was, 'Hello,' and, 'Thank you.'" Because of that language barrier, she turned him down involuntarily. �
She added, "But still, that person kept asking me out."
