Yonghwa also shared, "It is my first time taking on a historical drama and there are a lot of action scenes so I am especially focusing on practicing my swordsmanship and martial arts. In order to show a perfect image, I am working hard to practice while monitoring each scene."
The drama, which is the work of 'Nine's director Kim Byung Soo and writer Song Jae Jung, is set in the time of the Joseon Dynasty. The drama portrays the adventure of Park Dahl Hyang (Yonghwa) who comes from a poor family but is of noble birth and tries out for the military force, joining the Crown Prince Sohyeon (Lee Jin Wook) and his warrior guards Heo Seung Po and Ahn Min Suh. Yonghwa's character will be in a love triangle with Yoon Suh (Seo Hyun Jin) and the Crown Prince (Lee Jin Wook).
