As mentioned before, the actress suffered a fracture to her left arm and received surgery for it. However, she was also later found to have injuries to her knee, so she also underwent surgery for that recently and is currently in recovery.
Her agency Management Soop rep told OSEN on the 3rd, "She is enjoying a break thanks to consideration of the 'It's Okay, That's Love' staff... However, considering that the remaining filming is even longer, that's why she decided to go through with the surgery now... It is nothing too serious. The surgery went well and the progress [of the recovery] was said to be good. It looks like she will be able to be released from the hospital this weekend."
The drama's production company rep also revealed, "We've adjusted the schedule and are filming Gong Hyo Jin's scenes in multiples at a time. Because we started filming early, there is no issue with the scheduled premiere date."
"Fortunately, [Gong Hyo Jin] is making a speedy recovery. Because an actor's health is important, we will not push for an over-the-limit schedule... Prior to the broadcast, the official activities including the press conference will go on as scheduled."
We continue to wish Gong Hyo Jin a complete and speedy recovery!
