I'm a big kid now!
The power of puberty and makeup can do wonders. While Girls' Generation's Sunny, T-ara's Hyomin, After School's Nana, and Girl's Day's Hyeri were all innocent-looking cuties with their bare, acne-sprinkled faces, they all have blossomed into beautiful starlets with bombing figures and sexy eyeliner expertise. Say goodbye to those awkward, adolescent days and hello to diva-dom!

Win some lose some
Regardless of body type, if you aren't comfortable in your own skin, it shows. Girls can get obsessed with diets but not necessarily follow through. Davichi's Kang Min Kyung, SECRET's Sunhwa, and A Pink's Chorong have shown, however, that with hard work and diligence, you can have amazing results. While Kang Minkyung and Sunhwa made sure to slim down before showing up before the camera, Chorong chose to diet even after debut and can now tout a body that she likes.

The power of fashion
Despite the gender stereotypes galore, girls are not born with a sense of fashion. They develop it over time. Sometimes it takes some trial and error--you try out one style, only to realize that the total opposite is what fits you best. Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In started off looking simple and sweet growing up. Now she has developed a cool, vixen image, complete with short, bob hairstyle and heavy eyeliner. Meanwhile, 4minute's Gayoon started off in her group with a more bold, funky style; she now opts for a more chic look that suits her feminine features a lot more.
KARA as a whole group has changed drastically, not only in terms of member-changes but also in terms of style. Although they started off with a casual, down-to-earth, hip hop look, with the absence of Kim Sung Hee and the addition of Hara and Jiyoung, KARA changed their image to that of a much more girly and polished girl group. Now with Nicole and Jiyoung gone, it makes one wonder whether they will change their style once again to complement their new ensemble?
