The singer had originally planned to release the mini album on April 18th, but she decided to delay her album at the time because of the Sewol ferry sinking. She's finally decided to release the album two months later on June 17th.
For the album 'Synchrofusion', Park Jung Hyun worked with musicians she'd wanted to work with, under a fusion of various genres. It's a new try for her, and she worked with Yoon Jong Shin's producing team Team 89 for an even more upgraded sound.
The title song "Double Kiss" is an electronic sound with a heavy rhythm, which is a lot different from Park Jung Hyun's usual ballad. The MV will feature modern ballet dancer Lee Yong Woo from Mnet's 'Dancing 9'.
The mini album will contain 3 different songs, including the title song, "The Year After", and "Dream Spear". Paul Jackson Jr, a guitarist that participated in Michael Jackson's "Thriller", and the Grammy-winning engineer Mauricio Guerrero also worked on the album.
