Riding on the waves of his global popularity, Kim Soo Hyun has set a new record with 35 CFs in 2014 alone!

According to advertising statistics, Kim Soo Hyun recently took part in 15 CFs in South Korea.  A rep said, "Usually, it is difficult to film over 15 CFs.  It is difficult to receive contracts from businesses that have products with a similar image and from different jobs within the same field during the same time period.  With that in mind, it is truly amazing to have 15 CFs.  It is a numerical figure that gives a peek at Kim Soo Hyun's status."

However, that is only 15 CFs within South Korea alone.  In addition, as one of the trendiest Hallyu stars at the moment, Kim Soo Hyun managed to snag 20 more deals outside of the country with companies including Tencent and Coca-Cola in China for a total of 35 this year.

And it appears he could've easily surpassed the 35 CF's record if he wanted to as a rep revealed he had received even more CF offers - he just hadn't accepted them all.  The rep from the agency said, "We are receiving a lot of CF offers from different places, but we are refraining from doing them because of his image and discussions over his next project.  Kim Soo Hyun is carefully reviewing scripts despite his packed schedule as he goes back and forth between Korea and China on a daily basis.  We will look over them a bit more and then greet the fans with a good production."

Stay tuned for updates on Kim Soo Hyun's next project.  Meanwhile, it seems he has rightfully earned himself the title of 'CF King'!
