It's been revealed that entertainer Shin Jung Hwan, who has kept himself out of the public sphere since his gambling scandal, has been dating a younger woman for one year.
One entertainment rep revealed on May 7 that Shin Jung Hwan met his current girlfriend through a friend early last year. This past April, the two of them even embarked on a backpacking trip together in Europe, visiting various countries for an entire month.

On the 7th, the couple visited Frankfurt, Germany on their way back from their trip in Europe where they were seen by Korean tourists at an event. They were then seen returning to Korea through Incheon International Airport the same day. Shin Jung Hwan appeared healthy and his right ankle seemed to be in an okay condition since his motorcycle injury a few years ago.
One rep said, "We already know about Shin Jung Hwan's relationship, but his girlfriend's personal details are a part of her private life." In relation to rumors of Shin Jung Hwan's return, the rep said, "Shin Jung Hwan is still self-reflecting, so to my knowledge, he has no plans to return at the moment."
