Veteran actor Kim Myung Kook shared what he had to go through as a struggling actor during his appearance on MBC's 'Quiz to Change the World'.
"I tried my hand at manual labor, and door-to-door sales as well," he said. "Once, I cleaned up trash. It took me a whole day to clean out one dump. I was so tired, I hung on to the trash and cried."
"After I was done cleaning trash, I had to shower several times," he continued. "During summer, even my sweat smelled like trash. I couldn't tell anyone back home, so I had to get rid of the smell before I visited."
Although being an actor sounds glamorous, Kim Myung Kook cautioned that it wasn't all glitz and cameras - it takes a lot of work to make it as a celebrity!
