Since the station previously said that they will continue suspending variety shows, the new schedule had viewers believing this meant the station may have changed its mind and that regular programming would resume starting with 'Radio Star' tomorrow.
However, MBC revealed that for now 'Radio Star' is still not set to air. After holding a meeting today, a rep commented, "We believed that there is a risk in airing a variety show when mourning continues, so it has been canceled for this week... Following last week, this week's 'Radio Star' will also be suspended. Most of the variety shows aren't even recording at the moment, so it seems the variety shows suspension could continue."
Although 'Radio Star' will not air, the broadcast station's reps revealed that the other programs later this week are still up in the air currently, and that it really depends on the situation. Another rep commented, "'Stargazing', which is set for the 24th, is also on the schedule, but the schedule is open to changes as it all depends on the situation. This also goes for the weekend variety shows."
