CNBLUE's Yonghwa appeared on the March 5 installment of MBC's 'Radio Star' and dispelled all dating rumors of him and former 'We Got Married' partner, Girls' Generation's Seohyun.
Kim Gu Ra brought up the dating scandal first, saying that people wondered if the two were actually dating because they worked together so well on 'We Got Married.' There were claims that the two lived in the same villa and that people witnessed Seohyun getting into CNBLUE's van.

Regarding this, Yonghwa said, "We do live in the same villa, but different buildings. As for the van, the license plates are very similar." The mischievous MCs Kim Gu Ra said, "Did you guys do couple license plates?" and Kyuhyun said, "Did you match them up?"
Yonghwa laughed then said, "Everyone, we really did not date." He was asked if he got in the wrong van by accident and he said hesitatingly, "I went in with confidence and said, 'Where are we going?' but there was a female manager in there so I said, 'Oh, hello,' then went back out." He said that he was now scared because so many dating rumors would come out, for example ones related to Seohyun and Park Shin Hye.
In relation to Park Shin Hye, he said his parents came to a concert once and were friendly towards Park Shin Hye who was also there. After this, people made a big deal about this interaction, so Yonghwa said that even though the two were close friends and nothing more, he could not show their close friendship.
In a short preview also included in this part, it appears there might be a Kyuhyun and Seohyun love line when Girls' Generation come on the show next!
In addition, Yonghwa chose figure skater Kim Yuna as his ideal type saying, "Even looking at appearance alone, I like someone like Kim Yuna." He had also received malicious comments in the past for giving Kim Yuna an autographed CD. People said, "Who is he to give her a signed CD?" and, "Shouldn't he be the one getting her signature?"
Yonghwa goodheartedly said, "Of course I should receive [her signature]," and then a little more emotionally said, "I just gave it to her with pure intentions, out of support."
