Both agencies announced through a press release on March 19, "Mystic89 and Family Actors entered a merger on the 11th." Mystic89's CEO Lee Hak Hee stated, "Following the signing of an MOU last summer, both agencies rapidly grew. We complemented each other's lacking areas a lot and created a synergistic effect that was beyond our expectations. Upon observing that process, we are confident that this merger will enable a brighter future."
Family Actors' CEO Yang Byung Yong stated, "Both agencies utilized their characteristic colors and decided to work separately and together with a win-win strategy. We will do our best together and try to grow as fast as possible. We will produce high-quality content that encompasses the entire scope of the entertainment industry and use good marketing."
The newly combined label will continue to represent its respective artists and actors under their original, separate agencies.
