The Suseo Police Station in Seoul revealed on March 11 that they discovered actor Woo Bong Shik dead in his rented home on March 9.

The police have determined that he appears to have committed suicide by hanging himself. His friend became worried after he was unable to reach the actor and had asked the owner of the house to unlock the door, which is when his body was found.

It's said the actor had been suffering from depression and was taking medication as he started showing odd behavior. He was also working as a daytime worker who labored to sustain a livelihood for he wasn't able to make a living as an actor, unable to pick up a casting since the last production he appeared in as a supporting actor in 2007.
