The dark MV featured Puer Kim surrounded by a bunch of mannequins. Upon closer inspection, viewers found out that the barcodes on these mannequin's necks had the letters SM and YG on them, making people assume that Mystic89 might have been trying to send some sort of criticizing message.
Mystic89 revealed their stance on this controversy. One rep said, "We had absolutely no intention of using SM and YG's names to our advantage. Rather, the meaning behind it was, 'Idol singers are also artists. There is a need to protect their personal music preferences and values.'" In relation to why they used 'SM' and 'YG' in the barcodes, the rep said, "We did not have any ill feelings toward those two companies, nor did we mean to criticize them. We ended up using them as symbols because they were the chief representatives of the South Korean entertainment industry."
