IU has been given the 'Rising Actress Award' at the '2013 KBS Drama Awards'!
The singer-turned-actress is known for dramas, such as the 'Dream High' series, 'You're the Best Lee Soon Shin', and most recently 'Pretty Man'. IU said, "It's a new feeling to win an award for acting. I debuted as a singer in the beginning, so there are still a lot of people who aren't used to IU as an actress. I'll move forward, so that those people can think differently about IU the actress."
Actress Kyung Soo Jin was also awarded as a female rookie.
