In the photo shoot, Kim Woo Bin showed off the charismatic charms his bad boy character Choi Young Do was known for while mixing it up with a sweet, bright smile and playful demeanor.
In the interview, he talked about his current project 'Heirs,' particularly the scenes in which he does judo with his father. He said, "This was my first time doing judo. As Choi Jin Ho sunbae, who plays my father, was a long-time professional in judo, I went beforehand to learn from him, then engaged myself in filming. Maybe it's because I like using my body, but I had a lot of fun. They had even prepared a body double for me, but we wrapped up filming without using the stand-in. However, the one flaw was that I lost 3 kg (~ 6.6 lbs) that day."
In relation to whether this character was similar to the one he played in 'School 2013,' Kim Woo Bin stated, "Whenever I prepare for a production, I try using the life story behind that role. As they were each raised in different living environments, there are definitely differences so my take on it is how should I portray these characters as differently as possible?"
He continued, "Still, I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to worry over this. This is a role that I can't play even if I wanted to at a later time and it is also a hard opportunity to come by even once; that is why I am taking the opportunity multiple times."
You can check out his photo shoot and interview once the Hallyu magazine 'COK' publishes its December issue.
