We reported a few days ago that Sam Hammington of 'Real Men' fame wanted to have a traditional Korean wedding for his upcoming marriage ceremony. In an interview for MBC's 'Section TV', he expounded upon his reasons for the surprising decision.
"I have to do the ceremony once more in Australia anyway, so I wanted to do my Korean ceremony the traditional way," he said. "I think a marriage ceremony creates memories. If I held a traditional ceremony, I felt that I'd be able to make many lasting moments."

Although he doesn't regret his choice, the decision created some unexpected troubles. "Preparing for the wedding was really hard," he revealed. "I couldn't even eat properly and I had to try on so many clothes."
"There was some conflict between my wife and my mother," he said. "Since they have similar personalities, they clashed a little. My mother wanted to have a frugal wedding so she told us to not invite too many people. Since we're going to do it again in Australia, she wanted to have a limit."
His mother, who also attended the interview, said her future daughter-in-law was great. "She's really pretty," she said. "She's very lovable and takes care of me, as well as Sam."
